Some companies know that pinning an employee in front of a computer screen all day is not the way to go. It may sound counterintuitive, but productivity actually drops. So, what did Hootsuite do to prevent this from happening?

They offered their employees nap rooms! In one of their office spaces, they have cabin-themed nap rooms where workers can enjoy cots, blankets and pillows in order to catch a break. What’s more, a separate area also offers enormous beanbags, where employees can take their work with them, momentarily saying goodbye to their monotone desks.

This holistic approach has helped boost productivity, as it is clear that Hootsuite truly cares about its employee’s wellbeing!
