Cash in on your skills
If you’ve been working in a certain field for some time, you probably have some skills you can use to make extra money, outside your 9 to 5 job. Whether you’re experienced in writing, taking pictures, web design, accounting, marketing your experience and skills as a freelancer can be quite profitable. You don’t even have to do it all the time, just when you want or need some extra money.
One way to make your services known to potential customers is by listing them on specific sites such as Upwork, Fiverr, or TaskRabbit. Your rates might have to be a little lower in the beginning, to attract customers and build a portfolio. Once you’ve built customer trust and people like you, you can create your own website to market your skills.
