Pack Your Lunch
According to a VISA survey, we spend about $22 a week on lunch. You can easily save $90 a month or more if you avoid ordering, waiting, paying, and driving back to work with your food- obviously, you’ll also save quite a lot of time.
It’s easy, either pack some leftover dinner, cook a bigger breakfast, and take it with you to the office or set some time aside to cook lunch when you get home. Either way, you’ll save money!
Ban Bottled Water
Did you know we spend about $11.8 billion a year on water!? Why? Why are we doing this to ourselves and our wallets when water is basically free. Seeing as a bottle of water costs an average of $1.45, you could save $525 per year by simply drinking from the tap.
Seriously, it’s a no brainer!
Wear Your Specs
If you wear contact lenses, then you probably know that they cost anywhere between $220 and $700 per year. Sure, they look stylish, but opting for glasses instead will cave you a lot of money in the long run. Try them out for a month and see how you feel- you may never want to go back to the expensive contacts ever again.
At the end of the day, the trick is to have a clear goal in mind. If you’re focused on why you’re saving money, then it’ll be easier for you to justify all these cuts in your budget!
