Details, Details, Details
One way to secure a sale as fast as possible is by avoiding all the back and forth questions and answers. That’s why it’s so important to give as many details as you can.
Does the item have any flaws? How long have you owned it for and what kind of use has it seen? Have pets or smokers been around it? All those details are crucial and if a buyer knows them from the get-go, they might not lose interest in your listing.
As for furniture, make sure to always add dimensions- the same goes for all other big items.
Use Important Keywords
Using important keywords in the body of your listing will help put your items in front of more eyes. For example, you might title your listing as a “side table” but buyers might be looking for “nightstand” or “end table” instead.
Other keywords you should include are rustic, vintage, modern, designer, and other such descriptors that you think an average Joe might lookup. Think of how you’d search for different items online and take some inspiration from what other people have written.
