8. Washing your hair with hot water

Showering with hot water might help you feel relaxed and relieve that headache, but constantly using hot water on your hair won’t have the same effect. Hot water opens up skin pores which can result in more vulnerable, weak hair. That can actually result in hair breakage and hair fall.

Moreover, if want to have shiny hair, you’ll have to give up on the habit of washing it with hot water as it will make your hair feel dull, frizzy and especially dry. Scalp dryness can lead to dandruff.

However, washing your hair with really cold water is not recommended either, so you should try sticking to lukewarm water instead.
