Purchasing Final Sale Items Too Early
Did you know that around 30% of items that are ordered online are returned? That’s a huge leap from the 8% of items purchased in-store.
So, how can retailers avoid this problem?
They use what is known as a final sale. You’ll find most of these in the clearance section, thinking you’re getting a good deal. But the trick is in the name. Final sale doesn’t actually mean final price, so there’s a chance you’ll get a discount if you wait a little longer.
Also, ask yourself why you didn’t purchase this item earlier. Was it because of the price? Are you sure you don’t want it now just because you’re afraid of missing out? Think twice before purchasing a final sale item too early.
