Let’s say you’ve just found an online retailer and decided to fill your cart up with some fun new items. There’s just one catch, the retailer is asking for one of three things in order for you to complete your purchase: a money order, a gift card, or a wire transfer.
But instead of buying a new favorite item, all you’ll do is line a scammer’s pockets. So, don’t fall for this trick, even if you see plenty of reviews on their page.
Always pay with secure forms of payment, such as with a credit card! That way, even if something goes wrong with your order, at least your money will be safe.
