Muskogee is a place full of history and culture, all packed into a small college town. There are four prestigious institutions here, including the Oklahoma School for the Blind, as well as six museums and the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame.

The small town provides a lot of industrial job opportunities, with some of the major employers in the area including paper company Georgia-Pacific, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and a VA medical center.

But the best part about Muskogee is its super low cost of living, with the housing costs 35 percent cheaper than the U.S. average being the biggest perk. Residents also get to pay less than the average American pays for groceries, healthcare and transportation.

This last town is definitely not the pits…..

  1. When Donald Trump was our president, everything was great! Living was easy, no worries of war and gas was nice and low. The border was safe and was getting safer knowing a wall was being put up. Trump had men behind him that protected this country and we knew it. This president couldn’t wait to stop the wall from being completed and he’s letting in all the illegals good and bad. No one is safe because some are sick with disease and hundreds of thousands are coming from all different countries. He has to stop this! He’s ruining our beautiful America. He wants to give them medicare and social security and insurance and yet our vets that fought for this country can’t get help. He needs to go. Fairfield, Ct.
