Dishwasher Detergent and Dish Soap

Here’s one thing that took us, or most of us, by surprise: disappearing dish soap and dishwasher detergent. Of course, it all makes sense now (thanks, hindsight!) as the majority of us stayed at home and had to wash piles and piles of dishes, cups, glasses, and cutlery.

Procter & Gamble and Unilever found it difficult to keep up with demand, made worse by the fact that consumers started buying dish soap and dishwasher detergent as a replacement for equally hard to find hand soap.

Luckily, things have balanced out, and now you can still find these two items comfortably in most shops.
