14 Jamie Lee Curtis
Who wouldn’t want to be known as the Scream Queen? Jamie Lee Curtis was given the title thanks to her appearance in several horror movies such as John Carpenters groundbreaking Halloween (1978), The Fog (1980) and Prom Night (1980).
Her acting debut started in 1978 when she played Laurie Strode in Halloween and though she went on to star in various other productions other than horror, she has also reprised her role.
Nowadays, she’s still known for her portrayal of Laurie in several other sequels: Halloween II (1981), Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998), Halloween: Resurrection (2002), and Halloween (2018).
But let us not forget that she also received a BAFTA for Best Supporting Actress for the cult comedy Trading Places (1983), proving that she can tackle any genre she wants.
