Who would be crazy enough to challenge Wonder Woman herself? Well, as it turns out, plenty of other celebrities.
The picture was taking place during The Battle of the Network Stars, a television series in which stars from ABC, CBS, and NBC would compete in various sporting events. After vigorous training in between working on the set of Wonder Woman (1975 – 1979), Carter gave an outstanding performance. Her team, ABC, won the first series in the competition. Unsurprising, since they did have a superhero on their side!
Carter reportedly woke up at 5 AM every day in order to make time in her busy schedule, showing complete dedication to everything she was involved in. It’s no wonder that she was, and still is, one of Hollywood’s favorites.
